Hand in Hand Across the Indian Ocean: China-Tanzania, Creating Together
2025-08-19 08:53:30In February 25, 2024, a cable installation company in Tanzania took on a 4-mile project with a delivery timeline of one and a half years.
The project required multiple cable laying methods, including direct burial, pipe jacking, and tunneling, which necessitated cable laying machines and traction devices. However, the local market lacked cable conveyors that combined good quality, high efficiency, and affordability.
With significant time already lost in initial preparations, the remaining construction period was tight. At this point, the company found our firm through online channels and purchased a batch of large and small cable conveyors, pulleys, and traction devices.
After the goods were airfreighted to their location, they also completed their preliminary approval procedures.
Due to poor road conditions that made manual handling difficult, the crawler trucks they purchased proved invaluable—machines were transported on these crawlers. For the narrow spaces in tunnels and pipelines, small-sized cable conveyors were deployed at connection points to facilitate transportation.
Thanks to the high efficiency of the machines and the hard work of the workers, the project was completed and delivered within the one-and-a-half-year timeframe. This successful collaboration laid a solid foundation for a strong partnership: the company has since made bulk purchases, working with us to expand the presence of our cable conveyors across various cable construction sites in Tanzania.
